In June, we moved to Amsterdam, Holland. My husband took a new job with an international company. Rox handled the flight really well and came out of the kennel at the airport happy and un-phased. This city is full of dog lovers and there isn't a restaurant or store where she isn't allowed in - she even gets her own bowl of water and treat. She gets doted on far more than the kids. ;) We are living next to the Van Gogh museum and very close to one the of the city's nicest (unofficial) dog parks, the Museumplein. She has regular outings with dogs in our neighborhood - her favorite friends are a Dutch Lab named Jannsen and an American lab named Dixy. She also spends a lot of time in the Vondelpark, whose primary benefactor declared it a dog off-leash park for as long as it is in existence. So... pretty amazing place with tons of other dogs and places to roam. She has stopped growing and is a perfect 35 lbs or so. She is completely adored by everyone in the family and I am so, so thrilled to have been lucky enough to find her through Petfinder. Thanks again for all of the amazing work you do. I am truly in debt to you and your team for taking this lovely pup off the streets. She is my wonderful companion over here as we explore the city together. I have included two shots of the girl - one of her resting in her first few days here and the other shows her playing in "dog meadow" at the Vondelpark.
